Vision Statement

Vision Statement

Drafted on the third day of December in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred ninty-nine
Revised, updated and edited on the eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord two-thousand, one

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:13-16

There is power in prayer:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6,7

There is strength in numbers:
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

At Internet Community Church, we believe there is power in prayer, and strength in numbers. So we have put both together in a world wide prayerchain. But that's not all that we believe, and it is our hope to bring to light on this page what our calling is as a ministry. We are not associated with any denomination and do not have a church affiliation with any religious organizations. It is not the purpose of this internet church to be a replacement to attending worship in a physical church building. God has blessed us with the technology and the resources by which to do His work, and as long as it is His will, we will continue to serve the internet community through this ministry.

First and foremost, Jesus Christ is our risen Lord and Savior. Christ became flesh and walked among us and sacrificed His very life so that we may live eternally. It is our responsability to lift up the Name of Jesus into the Glory and Honor that are His. John 3:14-17 states, "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

The only way to Heaven is through Christ Jesus. Jesus came to earth to do the Father's will and to teach how we should obey. Therefore, in order for a person to be saved and receive the gift of salvation, that person must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believe He is our risen Lord and Savior. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11. It is the responsability of every Christian to do their best at being Christ-like. Christ set the the example of all Christians to follow. Once a Christian commits his/her life to God, he/she should be the best example of how Christ is that they can be. And with that, it should be stated again, Christians need to lift up the Name of Christ Jesus into the Glory and Honor that are His.

It is our mission, as a ministry of prayer, to pray for the many needs of God's people in this world. We also extend that to the lost, to pray for their salvation. And also to the lost, be a beacon of God's love and shine His light upon the world through the ministries God has blessed us with thus far and those He will bless us with in the future. It is also our mission, as Christians, to spread the Living Word of God to all nations. Mark 16:15 tells us to "...Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." And if called by the Lord, to help provide for the needs of others. In the case of children, we will lift their needs to the Lord and invite them into God's love through the Name of Jesus Christ for it is written, "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." Matthew 18:5. In all things, we commit Internet Community Church Ministries to the Glory of God's Kingdom, in the Name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit...AMEN!
