Orbelle 3 6T Toddler Bed Cherry

So happy with this purchased We bought the natural color for our son who is 21 months. So sturdy and well-made for a toddler bed. Our daughter has a Dream On Me toddler bed and THIS ONE is unquestionably nicer! It will definitely hold up for a while! The mattress boards have their own slots to make them much sturdier than the standard toddler bed. Definitely commend this toddler bed!

I did a lot of research when buying goods for a toddler bed for my 3 year old. The reviews for this bed helped me decide to choose this over other similar products. What I found have been consistent with the other reviewers. So, collectively, thank you to the other reviews. Adding my few confirming points here:

Pros:

- Simple, lovely design

- Sold wood. Makes it look more costly than it is.

- swell price.

- an individual cited that the slats are studier on this bed, and that’s one of the reason I decided on this bed. if you have a rambunctious 3 year old boy (I do), you may anticipate him to jump on that bed at so many point icon smile we instruct him not to jump on any furniture, exceptionally peculiarly I found that to be correct. The slats are more solid than the slats on my own platform bed, and that’s a soothing thought for me.

- Well-constructed. You get precisely what you need; not a spare screw or dowel. That was a point of concern in the beginning. Having had such a good deal of experience putting together IKEA furniture, I expect something to not fit right. Surprisingly, each part, every hole, every fitting were well-designed and well-constructed. All components fit together and aligned themselves astoundingly well. Kudos to Orbelle; they evidently put a lot of thought into this process.

- Simple instructions. Easy to follow. Just need a phillips screwdriver in addition to the hex key that comes with it is It assists to have your own hex driver, but not a necessities I put this together reasonably quickly.

- End result is very sturdy.

Most importantly, my boy took to it right away. He’s fully loving the freedom of being capable to get in/out of the bed on his own. It’s been 2 weeks now, and he has no problem sleeping icon smile )

Cons:

- I didn’t get the color I was looking for. Well, not at the same price as the natural color I got finally anyway. The natural genuinely fits well with everything else in the bedroom. But I was on a plan to shift everything to a darker color wood. Now that plan will take longer to carry out carry out

I obtained this bed on Saturday and put it together (with the ‘help’ of my 17 month old son). The assemblage was quite easy and didn’t require any of my own tools, just the provided hex key. The result seemed finelooking sturdy and stable, even though the wood is beautiful light – the manual says 50lbs is the max for the bed.

The look has a classical appeal to it; natural wood.

With the price, ease, and appearance, I’d definitely recommend this over one of the plastic toddler beds that cost twice as much.

We purchased this toddler bed after researching on the internet various different brands and stores. This is the best quality for the costly It cost fewer than assorted plastic beds. It’s real wood and easy to accumulated Our daughter loves its

The product came with a faulty left guard rail, which I guess may take place and instead of going through the hassle of returning it, I contacted the company for a alternate piece…

They were unable to tell me which guardrail they sold to amazon.

They refused to send me the only two models that they make (their store is fewer than 20 miles from me),

they had me take pictures of the incorrect piece,

then told me that they would ship it out in the next few days,

then told me that they would send me a tracking number ,

after 10 days of waiting, I called them again and they told me that in some way it was my mistake that they didn’t send it out yet and they necessitated more pictures….

WHATEVER…I have never had a worst client service experience..

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

The bed was easy to put together and is much sturdier than other models I have seen. It is a good design for both overall construction and appearance. It’s a nice addition to our daughter’s room and we are very pleased with our purchased Highly recommended.

I received the bed within the time frame stated, the bed was in great condition and all of the parts, accept the hardware were shipped. I initially gave the order a satisfactory review. That was, until I had to contact Orbelle and Amazon when it comes to the missing hardware. I called Orbelle and was rudely told that I necessitated to call Amazon when it comes to shipping the missing hardware…Fine. After tracking down the contact number for Amazon, I contacted them in regards to the missing hardware just to be told that the bed was no longer made (I don’t in truth care if the bed is obsolete..they make other furniture and ought to have the darn hardware!). I was told by Amazon that I would have to pack the bed back up and send it back to them…Which wholly makes no sense at all! All I needed were the screws and bolts! I won’t order any other furniture from Amazon in the future…I’ll just go to Babies R Us to pick up my bed and be done with it is I hope this review helps someone else.

So far so good. We have had the new bed for a month and our 20 month old slept like a angel the very introductory night. I made certain to get some sheets that she would love and she jumped right in and went to sleep (what a relief). My husband put the bed together in with regards to 1hr with little problems. The color and wood detail is beautiful. I am astonished how sturdy the bed is. Both he and I have read bedtime stories to our daughter so the sturdiness is exceptional. I as well like the side rails. She has only fell off once. She is a wild sleeper but manages to keep most of her body on the bed throughout the night. We will in all probability upgrade to a twin bed within the year because she is such a wild sleeper and enjoys her space.

I just received this bed Saturday. My immediate reaction is that it’s nearly precisely what I was hoping for. The color (mine is espresso) was a little darker than I expected, nearly black, but it goes well with my daughter’s room and I’d rather have it too dark than too light. It was quite simple to put together and I completed the project in in regards to 10 – 15 minutes. The side rails could be a little higher in my mind but so far it has not been an issue. My 20 month-old daughter was born prematurely and has perpetually been tiny – currently 20 pounds/31 inches – so the low height of this bed is a great plus. been sleeping in her crib as a converted toddler bed for with regards to two months now with no troubles and with a new baby on the way in in regards to 6 – 7 weeks, it was time to get her in her big girl bed so we can complete the nursery.) In the event that she would fall out of bed, it’s only with regards to 10 inches to the floor from the top of the mattress which makes me feel safer. Additionally, my daughter is a huge daredevil and is always jumping on and off of things, but it seems to me the components of this bed will stand up to her maltreated The price is fabulous, peculiarly since it fits a crib mattress which does away with the cost of a new mattress to go with the bed. In my mind this is so much nicer than those plastic toddler beds that cost more and don’t look as nice. As a introductory impression, I would recommend this bed. I hope in several months or a year I have the same feelings about it!

I went into this buy not knowing what to expect in terms of quality for the cost. Prior to this purchase I spent ~$100 on a plastic/metal bed from Babies R Us and that was a complete disappointment. The Orbelle bed stood out immediately! The wood is of good quality and has well machined slots/holes for interfacing parts to assemble at primary try. I put this together in less than 30min. BTW, the picture shown doesn’t do the bed justice. There is a center aid help support that provides the bed frame more stability…So that was a total plus for me! Also, this bed converts to a chair too! If you are deciding on a toddler bed look no further this Orbelle bed is ideal. The price alone is plus but the quality of craftsmanship, colors offered are what set this bed apart. Awesome purchase and most significantly my little girl loves her new bed!

Safety 1St Heavenly Dreams Mattress

I ordered this mattress 2 days ago and it was on my doorstep this afternoon. I have to say that I am floored by the quality. This is for our second daughter (on her way) and our eldest applied a mattress 2x this price and when I compared them side by side, I was blown away.

Here’s why:

1. It’s a dense, high quality memory foam with a waterproof cover on it (removable)

2. Contrary to what other reviewers say, it’s big; as a matter of fact, it’s a good 1.5″ longer than our brand name more highpriced mattress that pales in comparings The old one is like sitting on a series of crunchy springs and the new one is like sitting on a tempur-pedic with a non-crunchy waterproof cover.

I did a lot of anal retentive exploration in this purchase and am shocked that this is the real price for this mattress. Don’t hesitate on this one. It feels and looks very high end. You’ll be glad I did all the psychotic research for you in advanced

I think this mattress is a swell value! The foam is nice and firm, but it is very light which is swell for changing the crib bedding, the cover is waterproof which is great, and it even has a zipper whether or not for such a lot of reason there is ever a reason that you would need to remove the cover. When i opened it there were no weird odors or plastic-type smells which was a relief. I as well noticed the tag on mine says it is made in Canada which is nice to know. Im really happy with this purchase and i would commend this mattress to anybody that wants a utterly fine crib mattress for less cash cash

i was skeptical when i ordered this. thought it might be chinsy because of the price, but it’s a genuinely nice mattress. very firm, i was checking out mattresses at target and burlington and the very firm ones were running $70-$80. i would purchase this again whether or not i ever need a crib mattress again.

I was so enjoyably amazed by this mattress! I acknowledge that a nice, firm mattress is idealisti for growing children, since their bones aren’t completely hardened for the primary various years, making something strong and supportive indispensable to ascertain proper bone development. So, I genuinely had no aim on skimping on mattresses for our twin daughters. When I saw this mattress, I was a small concerned, since it’s price was so low, but I chose it because of how thick and dense it was listed as, while comparing specs among dissimilar mattresses (I was so astonished to see much more pricey mattresses that were thin, light and not very dense at all; it seemed as whether or not because they had a trusted and known mattress brand name that that warrented the high price, which did not compell me to purchase purchase This mattress was thicker and denser than such a outstanding deal of of the more costly mattresses, which I was amazed to see, but figured I’d give it a attempt to see whether or not we could save galore money, and simply send it back if I didn’t like it is Boy was I shocked when they arrived! Seriously, you will not be disappointed with this mattress. It is nice and firm, and thick, but not at all a pain to modify the sheets on. While setting up the cribs, my 8 year old (who’s almost 60lbs; yes she’s admittedly on the petite end) even layed on it while it was on the floor and the mattress didn’t sink noticeably or seem squishy. It is unquestionably a way nicer mattress than she had as a baby (her mattress was less than half the thickness, but cost more, once again I think we were decieved by the manufacturer name, instead than really knowing what to look for in quality). This is outstanding mattress for a swell pricey

Not too firm, not too soft…it’s just right! Baby is comfortable. I’m very pleased with the purchase of this crib mattress it seems just as good as the other high priced mattress but for a fraction of the cost.

I bought this after reading virtually all of the reviews. Most are very favorable, but there were a couple that had me concerned. Since there were mostly really good reviews, I decisive to risk it.

Since most product descriptions do not list where the product is manufactured, the review mentioning that it was made in Canada was helpful to me and I am pleased in regards to this since I am wary of plastic productions made in certain countries. I was in addition happy that the mattress I received was fabricated just 2 months prior to my receiving it is Not sure why that is such a good thing, but I guess I like that it has not been sitting in a funky warehouse for months or years.

To address such a heap of negative reviews: A couple said this mattress is far too soft and I would like to see to it you that this is not the case as it is extremely firm. Perhaps those consumers got a lemon or would prefer their infant sleep on a slab of concrete. Firmness is unquestionably suitable for infants.

The other review I was concerned when it comes to stated that their crib sheets did not fit this mattress, so that had me a little worried. Fortunately, mine fit like a dream and so does my crib pad.

A couple reviews said the mattress did not fit their cribs utterly and I am pleased to report that it fits my Babi Italia common size convertible crib absolutely utterly with no spaces whatsoever.

After purchasing this, I noticed that it has been a baby best vender on amazon for over 800 days! I may see why.

I am exteremly happy that I purchased this and recommend it to you. Of course I want nothing but the best for my baby, and in this case, I found a wondrous mattress for him at a fraction of the cost of other comparable ones.

We are expecting our basi child and ordered this mattresss after doing galore research both in stores and online for good prices and quality. We are very pleased with this mattress and its size. Some reviewers have said the mattress was too little for their crib and left astounding gaps. In our case it wasn’t a issue at all. We have a Graco Lauren 4-in-1 crib and the Heavenly Dreams mattress was one of the basi to be commended by Amazon itself. We measured and the mattress fits snuggly and has dimensions close to 52″ long x 27.5″, the long side could be measured closer to 51.75″ or so because you have to make sure to measure on the ‘real’ end of the mattress instead of just the binding because it’s flexability. Width-wise it is a nice and tight fit. There is maybe, and I stress maybe, less than a 1/4 of an inch on either end.

It came wrapped in heavy responsibility plastic bag with heat sealing on every end. There were no marks or dings on the packaging. The data sheet that was attached to the mattress did have some sticky residue on the mattress, but you may either remove that with just water, WD-40, or plain vegetable oil and then wash off whatsoever substance you utilized We employed water to get it off and it just took a little elbow grease. The waterproof cover looks wonderful, so I doubt we will even get a liner to go over it.

We chose this mattress for our child because of the solid foam core. Our little girl may have a genetic condition called O.I. or Brittle Bone Disease and a firm mattress is a must. Its soft sufficient to sleep on comfortably and firm sufficient for support. We’re really excessively affected emotionally to have our daughter test it out completely. We’re in addition posting our pictures of the mattress in the crib for you to see for yourself. ^_^

My husband and I bought this mattress for our second child, arriving in February. We have used a great deal of Safety 1st merchandise so we trust the brand and the reviews were great. We have a Serta mattress for our toddler’s bed that we in addition got from Amazon so we were very hopeful this would be a great product.

When it arrived, I mentioned how light it was (I am 7.5 months pregnant and 5’2″ and was without apparent effort capable to lift it up the stairs and into the nursery.) I took it out of the box, and without delay brought up how soft it was. WAY too soft for an infant to sleep on. This mattress is a severe SIDS highrisk We decided for now to switch the mattress with my son’s Serta, and use the Serta for the baby and give my son this mattress since he’s old enough to not have SIDS risks. When I went to put on the crib sheets, the mattress bowed in the middle, almost bending (a sign of how soft it was, which goes against every APA recommendation for a mattress for an infant.) With my son’s Serta, the mattress is very firm and does not bow at all when sheets are placed on it.

I then inserted it into my son’s crib (a Storkcraft Tuscany 4 in 1 crib) and the mattress fell short of the ends by at least an inch on both sides. With his Serta, the mattress fit snugly as it’s supposed to (another SIDS risk is having a mattress that has a gap amid the mattress and the rails because baby’s may roll over into there and get stuck and suffocate.) His crib is a frequent size so the mattress must fit snugly and it doesn’t at all.

I am so disappointed and will be returning this. It’s not safe because it’s way too soft for an infant to sleep on (mattresses shouldn’t be able to bend in the middle when you put sheets on (and they are general crib sheets purchased at Target which fit my son’s Serta mattress snugly) and as well shouldn’t have a gap anywhere when placed in a crib. In my sentiment this mattress should be recalled.

You get what you recompense for and for this mattress it’s a piece of junk. We will be returning it and purchasing another Serta mattress. Definitely worth the extra $50 we will pays for it.

My counsel – do not purchase this. Or if you need to don’t purchase it for an infant to utilized The client that said it sagged after a short time had it right…with as flimsy as this is, I doubt it would last very long. And we purchased a 4 in 1 crib for a reason, so our child could use it for years to come. I don’t want to have to be replacing mattresses every few months. Just pay the extra money now and save yourself the hassle in the long run.

Pros- Item arrived on time and packaged accordingly. Mattress is incisively how its described. I find the mattress to be very light and easy to move/change sheets. Mattress is perfective for a infant…not to hard yet not to soft. Fits well in usual size crib as well.

Cons- none as of yet. UPDATE 4/15/12- Since my orginal review on this product I have given birth to my son. Now that I have atcually used this mattress I have complaints! My son was born in March, I have only used the mattress for two months now. The mattress has started to have a indentation from where my son lays at night and his head area. It dips in and doesn’t spring back to life after his moved off the mattress. I am HIGHLY upset in regards to this and would not recommend buying this. We actually bought another one today because of this issue!

Huggies Little Snugglers Diapers Economy

When my wife and I had our initial child, we started out using Pampers diapers, because that’s what we had utilized in the hospital. While those diapers were adequate, we didn’t genuinely like the way that they forced our daughter to waddle with her knees turned out once she started learning to walk. I saw such a heap of Huggies Supremes, as they were then called, publicity a more shaped fit in their toddler sizes, and decided to try a package.

What a divergence it made! Not only did she walk more easily, but the diapers in addition had a significantly higher capacity, meaning that a single diaper would ordinarily last through the night without overflowing. In addition, the fit was better to the point that poop explosions became a thing of the past. It was in truth nice not having to modify soiled clothing along with the diapers.

Other parents we recognise report alike experiences. When our second child came along, there was no question – he started using Huggies little Snugglers right from the start.

Modern diapers have come a long way from the old cloth diapers, so here are a few tips for using them whether or not you are new to them.

- The absorbent material in advanced diapers is so effective that the diaper won’t feel wet, and won’t release any urine odor. The way to tell that the diaper needs to be changed is to squeeze slightly at the front of the crotch – on boys, a small higher, just above the private parts. whether or not it feels like it did when the diaper was put on, it’s still dry. whether or not it feels more full and squishy, like a gel, it’s wet. Poop you’ll still have to tell by smell and the child’s behavior.

- When putting these diapers on, stretch the elastic all over the baby’s back slightly, and make certain the front is in addition cozy when velcroing the tabs shut. This will aid derogate the risk of leaks at the waist or leg holes.

- A couple tricks for diapering in general: when altering a diaper, I spread the clean diaper out beneath the child first, before removing the dirty diaper. After undoing the tabs, I grab both ankles in my left hand, lift a couple of inches, remove the dirty diaper, and clean the back and buttocks before lowering the baby’s behind onto the clean diaper. For a boy, putting a wipe over the front while doing the modify may avoid fountains.

Each box holds two or four clear plastic bags with half or a quarter of the diapers in each. The bags have perforations and act as fairly convenient dispensers after remotion from the box.

Since the sizing selective information is currently missing from the product description, here it is:

Size 1: up to 14 pounds

Size 2: 12-18 pounds

Size 3: 16-28 pounds

Size 4: 22-37 pounds

Size 5: over 27 pounds

Size 6: over 35 pounds

Huggies Supremes do cost a bit more than most other brands, but you will probably in addition use less diapers because of their larger capacity. Add to that the scaled down probabilities of soiling baby’s clothes, and they are well worth it!

We have tried EVERYTHING! These are the best and are definitely worth the extra money. Our daughter got diaper rash with Luvs and Pampers but as soon as we swapped to these, no more diaper rash! We have yet to have any leaks (3 months, going strong) and they seem to be much more plush than any other diaper brand. As a side note, the Huggies snug and dry are just as good, not as soft. When on sale, the premiums are actually cheaper than snug and dry. So keep your eyes open!

I have a 13lb small man and NEVER once leaked poopy or pee with these. He sleeps 8-10 hours straight through the night and there aren’t any leaks in the morning-EVER. in addition there isn’t any gel left behind on him, either, he wakes up dry and happy. He leaks in Pampers sometimes, and even altho Luvs don’t leak, they don’t hold as much, so it seems, and they feel genuinely cheap.

Without any baby experience, I stocked up on 3 dissimilar types of NB diapers. A fourth type was given to us by the hospital.

The Huggies Little Snugglers were the brand applied by our hospital and we were given a package of 40 when we left the hospital.

I had stocked up on Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Dry Max and Seventh Generation.

HUGGIES — This was my favored overall. This one has a good cutout for the umbilical cord. My husband & I in addition actually like the stripe on the outside that changes color when the diaper is soiled. As first-time parents we in truth liked having this because even although we adjust our baby at each 3-hour feedings, we like to modify him in amidst whether or not he needs its Since we don’t actually recognise what a soiled diaper ought to feel like, this little detail made it very easy for us. The only caveat is that this is the only brand that would leave little “crystal”-like substances in the diaper. At initial I was alarmed thinking these were from the baby’s urine but after a quick google, it seems galore diapers may give rise to these. Out of the 4 types we used, only the Huggies left this. The Huggies as well retained in the poops well. The size seems like it grows with the baby for the initial month without any problems.

Seventh Generation Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Newborn (Up to 10 Lbs), 40 Count (Pack of 4)– This was my 2nd favorite. Again, there are professionals and cons. The pros, besides the fact they are chlorine-free, is they held in the watery poops well. But I don’t like that it’s unmanageable to tell when the diaper has been peed in. You can’t feel wetness so you kind of have to look at the heaviness in the front. This is a slight ache specially whether or not you’re a initial timer and aren’t sure what a wet diaper feels like. I acknowledge this sounds stupid but if a newborn is only outputting one ounce and you want to modify the diaper, it’s tough to tell. I do like the minor detail that it doesn’t have foolish characters or designs on the diaper. This fit our long but lean son well for the introductory month. This does not have an umbilical cord cutout but it didn’t ride up high like the Pampers.

Pampers Swaddlers Pampers Swaddlers Dry Max Diapers, Size N, 84 Count– Despite the arrogate that it has an umbilical cord cutout, I couldn’t tell. I still had to sort of fold over the top so it wouldn’t rub against it is It has no wetness indicator as I guess like a former version. It did hold in the poops well. My 3rd favorite.

Pampers Baby Dry Pampers Baby Dry Diapers, Newborn, 124 Count– I didn’t like these at all. The fit was much more snug even even although my son is slim. This was in addition the only brand that leaked out poop. When it didn’t leak, you can see the yellow through the diaper. This was also the “stiffest” diaper of all the ones we used. This didn’t have an umbilical cord cutout either. I also didn’t care for the Sesame Street characters on the diaper even although this obviously does not impact the performance of the diapers.

For any other expecting initial time parents, I had stocked up on NB size diapers (more than 400 when you son was born at 8lbs+. We also went through multiple diapers at each diaper altering session because as we would go to close the diaper, the baby would either pee or poo so we would commence all over again. This would take place as a heap of as 4 or 5 times. Yes, that means going through 5 or 6 new diapers at one session because small amounts would soil the diaper. If I had it to do again, I would order one case at a time since the Amazon Mom/Prime shipping gets the diapers to your door in 2 days. You may also save cash by buying a littler package at a brick and mortar store as your baby grows out of a size instead of having a immense case of leftovers.

This is my fifth child and so I know a little in regards to diapers. I’ve used Huggies wholly for the last 4 children. I just found them to work the best. (And one child actually had an allergy to all BUT Huggies!) So, with that said…

I perpetually wondered what the divergence was amidst Snug N Dry which is what I commonly bough and Little Snugglers. Now I know. Little Snugglers doesn’t hold much of anything. After only 2 hours of my baby wearing the diaper, the inside beads get started to form on his skin. This commonly suggests that the diaper is fully And indeed, if I wait any long to change it, there WILL be an overflow problems DO NOT use these diapers for more than three hours at a time, unless you occur to LIKE doing laundry! I do not. So, back to Snug N Dry I go!

I did use more than one size and box of each size to make sure it wasn’t just that he necessitated the next size up.

I also found that they ran a reasonable bit smaller than Snug N Dry.

The tabs on these diapers are very small and come loose and even when they’re secure the diaper doesn’t lock in anything each time I put these on my 8lb newborn all of her Stool and Urine went everywhere unless she hadn’t done it yet. To ever look at buying these diapers again would reveal that my mind was headed towards dementia, and that I was in need of commitment to a mental foundations It is Stool everywhere Dean Koontz will have to write a book about these Lil Snugglers by Huggies because they are horrifying. I read his most recent book 77 Shadow Street and it was nothing equated to the terror I feel when seeing Stool on the outside of her tightly secured diaper. I think %75 of the Stool and Urine ends up outside the diaper. DON’T buy these.

This is our original baby, therefore our basi experience with diapers. We got a LOT from our baby shower, including Pampers Swaddlers, Huggies Little Snugglers, and Mom to Mom. We used up the Pampers introductory and now we’re on to the Huggies. The introductory thing we noticed before any leaks even occurred was that the Huggies didn’t even seem to fit around the back side of her leg properly. I remarked to my wife that I didn’t see how, given the way they fit, these diapers could prevent waste from leaking. The first few were okay but it seems as though each 4th or 5th diaper has TERRIBLE leaks.

I guarantee that once the gifts run out, we’ll be back to Pampers. Zero leaks and identical pricing makes it a no-brainer.

I purchased these diapers before the baby arrived because I love that they have the cut-out for the umbilical cord. He was just beneath 7 pounds when we brought him home and we were going through a couple outfits a day because he was blowing out the back sides of the diaper with nearly every bowel movement. A family member had made us a diaper cake as a gift and she used Pampers size 1′s. I thought they were going to be too big, but that first week home we started using them (with the front folded down beneath his belly button) and we haven’t gone back to Huggies since.

I love that the Huggies are absorbent. However, I do not like that they take the wetness indicator off once you hit certain sizes. The Huggies are so absorbent that it is genuinely difficult to tell when baby is wet. Huggies would do well to do what Pampers does, and keep the wetness indicator on all the sizes. I would use Huggies entirely if they did that. However, I use Pampers sensitive for daytime and the Huggies for night. My daughter can sleep through the night with these because she can’t feel the wetness like she can with the Pampers.

We tried these diapers though a great deal of suggested that they are kinda leaky. Unless you try, you cant comment, so we tried these. We did like the cut and design, but found our baby’s clothes wet with every diaper change. These diapers don’t hold much and leaks most of the time. We got fedup changing clothes so very often. Abandoned remaining 50 diapers and ordered Pampers sensitive. They are plainly best one in my views Don’t waste your cash on Huggies Little Snugglers.

Pampers Baby Diapers Economy Count

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past nearly 11 years and Pampers Baby arid is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been “super soakers” when it comes to pee. These diapers way out carry out any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major retail points for me are:

1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.

2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me many times have to use the other hand to keep baby still)

3. tabs are without apparent effort opened without extra unfolding and don’t rip off like various other brands.

4. Doesn’t leave residue on baby or smell like pee when genuinely soaked.

5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that might be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. whether or not your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints with regards to Pampers not fitting or leaking.

Hope this review was helpful!

There’s a lot of mixed reviews…I just want to begin by saying every diaper is going to work differently on every baby! They’re not all shaped the same, they don’t all go to the bathroom the same. It takes forbearance to find the right diaper for your baby. Just because my friend alternatively chooses swaddlers doesn’t mean I do too. The Pampers Baby dry is a good fit for my child. She’s gorgeous little and long. I’ve noticed my friends with fuller, thicker babies don’t have as much good luck. But for me, this is a great, thin, super-absorbant diaper that works well. The price is a swell value as well.

Be conscious though, no diaper will elimnate diaper rash! Despite how absorbant your diaper choice is, your baby will still at such a lot of point have diaper rash. My best luck has been butt paste diaper cream (All Natural Boudreaux’s Butt Paste + FREE Baby Ganics Thick N’ Kleen (Fragrance Free) Baby Wipes) because it seals up the sensitive skin and I may still re-diaper my girl right away without a lot of fuss. With diaper rash and rash cream, make sure the diaper doesn’t rub anyplace to hard and that they’ve got such a lot of flexibility. The Baby Dry leaves a great deal of room for my baby.

I made the immense fault of buying the baby dry after reading through the reviews. I thought that for the price, why not undertake them. What a huge mistake! I should have just bought a smaller quantity to attempt them first. Instead we have been using these for over a month now and I have had to clean up a poop spill at least every other day. My baby was 4 months old when we started using these and since she is not eating solids yet, the poop is finelooking runny. The baby dry don’t absorb the runny poop and it tends to just go right up the back side of the diaper onto her outfit and usually whatever or whoever she is lying on. It’s just not worth the cash saved! I will only purchase the Swaddlers from now on. Hope this helps an individual marveling which to purchase Swaddlers or Baby Dry, unquestionably go with the SWADDLERS!!

These diapers work great. We rarely have any leaks accept the firstborn time we applied the diaper overnight. At nighttime, make sure to fasten the tapes as high as possible throughout the front of the diaper. There is a lot of absorbent material in the front of the diaper. If you fasten the tapes to low, the top of the diaper tends to roll over exposing such a lot of of the absorbent material and your baby’s clothes will get wet if they pee a lot at night. This is not an issue for us during the day because we modify the diapers often sufficient that it does not get as saturated.

I signed up for these with the subscription purchase because they were somewhat less expensively than the Huggies. We are not happy with them at all. They don’t seem to hold as much, which is a problem for overnight. You in addition have to be heedful how you position them on your child so they don’t leak. When I applied swaddlers for my son as an infant, I thought this was a great brand, but the Baby Dry are definitely NOT of the same quality. We will continute to use these during the day until they are gone, but I will not by them again.

Just for those worried (like I was) when it comes to getting old non-flextab diapers from ordering this product: I ordered a 160-pack, size 4, in May, and they were the most recent version, not the old ones with non-flexible tabs.

It need to depend on your child because I tried the cruisers after perpetually using baby dry on my son and they failed us assorted times. I went right back to baby dry and no more leaks. I have as well tried other brands and I loved Huggies for my daughter but they don’t work for my son. Funny how every is different. I am a mother of 4 and Luvs worked for my other son. You just go with what works for your child. I in addition have noticed that they work differently for dissimilar ages as well. Good idea to try a few out before you buy the jumbo packs.

Thanks for the great price on pampers you cant beat the price 174 diapers for Only $29.99!! These are also great diapers I have applied them with all my kids & have had NO difficulties at all

I applied to use the more costly Pampers Cruisers but thought I’d try the Baby-Dry to save such a lot of money. I bought a pack at a local store introductory to make sure the fit and performance was good. I liked them just fine. Nice stretchy tabs, much like the Cruisers. So I ordered from Amazon. I ordered three cases to take advantage of a promotion Amazon was running. But the diapers I obtained must be old stock, before Pampers put the “flex” stretchy sides on the Baby-Dry diapers. The older expiration dates on the Rewards code confirms this. Maybe they’ve gotten rid of the old stock; then those newer diapers would rate 4.5 stars. These non-flex diapers barely close to fit my baby whereas the flex ones were plenty big. It irks me that Amazon posts a picture of the “flex” diapers and delivers a different, inferior merchandise

Lego City Excavator Transport 4203

I just purchased this Lego set, along with another, for my grandson for Christmas and I’m certain he’ll love both. I have no idea why Amazon gives the list price as $59.99 (must be a typo). The list price (not on sale) for this set on the Lego internetsite is $39.99. I’ve seen Lego set prices go up and down 3 times per day on Amazon, so I always check the Lego website for the base price, so I acknowledge for sure if I’m getting a good price or overpaying.

My mother purchased it for my 5 year old he just loves its it’s a swell gift. He plays with it and never gets bored.

Schwinn Easy Steer Tricycle White

Putting it together was fairly easy. The foot rest is outstanding as my 18 month old may not reach the pedals yet. However, we were not capable to pivot the footrest to forward or retracted position. The footrest release doesn’t seem to work. We had to unscrew the plastic caps and get the footrest to the forward down position and put the screws back. The seat belt buckle is a small flimsy. Not certain whether or not that would last long. Apart from the footrest release and the seat belt buckle, everything else when it comes to this trike is outstanding and of good quality. Walmart sells it for $59 and that’s the best deal that I have found for this trike.

I was looking for a tricycle for my kid and wanted something made out of metal, not plastic. I’ve run all over Schwinn and loved the design. It was easy to put it all togeter too, took when it comes to 15 min. It’s very sturdy and lasting which offers a good deal of years of use – a big plus. Two storage caddies is a outstanding idea, as I perpetually have something in my hands and those are perfective to put your keys and phone so you may steer the trike without juggling stuff in your hands. The parent steering device is very sensitive and handy, it takes just a small turn for the trike to respond. And it’s very handy for a kid who is just learning, so you don’t have to bend over and walk along keeping the child’s handles. (That would give you back issues). Another good word to say is about the wheels, they are rubber, so they don’t skid on a concrete, arid or wet. Safety seat belt is a swell thinking too. Very good quality merchandise

I am so pleased with this tricycle. As another reviewer wrote — it’s requiring little venture to steer than a stroller. And it’s a swell transition for when the child still needs a person to push while providing the probability to learn how to organize steering and pedaling or, in our case, to practice steering until he can reach the pedals. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old nephew. Since he still can’t rather reach the pedals the footrest bar is perfect — indispensible, really. The only difficulty I had putting the trike together was tightening the handlebars sufficient to control the steering. I thought it was wrong defective other reviewers noted) until my neighbor came over with his socket wrench and did the job. The trike has a basket on the front to carry sippy cups, a pouch behind the seat for adults to put keys, camera, etc. and a bucket in the back to carry all sorts of treasures. It tips like a dump truck which my nephew actually enjoys! It also has a seat belt which came in handy when my nephew decisive to start standing up on the footrest. On top of all the great features, it’s genuinely a sharp looking, attractive trike. I’d buy it again, and I’d highly commend it!

The company is great with their customer service!! I’ve contacted them a couple times — once to recommend they have numerous kind of cover or cap over the screws on the seat (which they said was a great idea and would forward my suggestion). The other time was because a nut on the frame apparently fell off for the duration of use — they’re sending me further and added bolts and nuts. Also, they clarified how to extend and retract the foot rest — very easy to do once you acknowledge how!

We’ve purchased this tricycle for our son’s 2nd birthday and he loved its It is a sturdy construction and the parent handle works great, easy to steer too. It’s a well-known dependable brand, so I expect it to last till he is ready to advance to a more spectacular bike. I recommend its

We bought this from BBRUs, April2012, same price $90. Had it 2 months. Garbage. Husband threw box out, but I’m going to call to see whether or not I can return. It feels super inexpensively made. Steering is terrible, but worse is this horrid squeaking in the wheels that can’t be fixed. Just makes it a miserable experience. Other than that, I still like all the features, seatbelt, baskets, two- handed push. But there’s no way this thing is going to last. I require to have gotten a lemon, I guess, based on the other reviews. I’m not going to try a new one. My husband put together 7 dissimilar strollers/ joggers, all her furniture, so I’m sure it’s not something he did wrong. Its just not a good trike. I got this based on all the positive reviews here, so I felt beholden to give my honest opinions

When we were buying goods around for a trike for our 2 year old son, we wanted to get him one of the best. We bought the Schwinn Easy Steer because of the brand and the four star reviews. When we received it, we were very impressed by the quality of the productions It looked sturdy. We took it to a park with our son for a ride. On the second day of use, it started making an unbearable screeching sound. The trike was not subject to any rough use by our toddler. He was ridding it on a regular paved surface. We waited for a few days to check if the noise was temporary. We tried to oil the constituents and check the fittings. But nothing worked. The screeching noise became more and more unbearable to the extent that our son started associating his trike with the “noise”. He would point at the trike and say “papa trike noise”.

We called up the marketer vender vender and they offered to replace its We disassembled this one, sent it back and reassembled the new one. But the new one started making the horrid screeching sound the firstborn time it was taken out for a ride. Anyone who has collected a trike or any elaborate kid product would recognise that it takes a lot of effort and time to collected Assembling a trike twice and disassembling it twice is not only time consuming but also discouraging and hindering to the extent that we don’t want to look at buying a Schwinn product again in future.

We at long last returned the Schwinn and bought a Kettler Kettrike for our son. He loves it and learnt how to ride it within a day.

This is newly purchased for a grandchild and have employed little at this time. I utilized this instead of stroller while shopping. I have storage for my bag or purse and comes with a backpack attached to trike for carrying baby items. The trike was easily assembled. The trike steered well for me. So far, I liked it better than the plastic Tike trike we tried.

I bought this tricycle for my granddaughter’s second birthday. Since her pedaling is a work in progress, my son and his wife requested one with a push mechanism to save their aching backs. They have told me that both they and my granddaughter love this tricycle. It’s well built, easy to steer and should also work great when she learns to peddle on her own. Highly recommended.

Melissa Doug Deluxe Standing Easel

This easel is a outstanding buy! Very sturdy and high quality as most of mellisa and doug products. Colorful, kid friendly and easy to put together. Both the writing boards and the trays are adaptable for the height of your child. It folds up easy, but stands strong. This easel DOES have a place for a paper roll!! I did not think it did by the amazon description (I almost purchased a more costly one for the paper roll but decisive to go with this and am so glad I did) job the roll goes in the center between the boards and the paper comes up through the top and under a paper guide in front of the arid erase side. I can’t image why you would spend more on another brand of easel, this one has everything I could think of wanting and is simple, solid wood, looks good and is super functional. This is the initial review I have written, but wanted to pass on how happy I am with this products

I purchased this easel as percentage of the classroom I set up for my preschooler. I love the adaptable size, durability and ease of utilized My only complaint was the chalkboard. Though I followed the priming instructions diligently, I found that even the good chalk scratched the board and did not write well. Melissa and Doug did reply immediately to my concern and were more than willing to do whatever primary to correct the difficulties On a whim, I decisive to attempt so a lot of chalkboard paint instead. It now writes beautifully, and I love the black chalkboard, rather than the green it came as. It is perfect.

This easel works very well and is easy to put together, but is in addition much better looking than others I have seen for a comparable highpriced We gave this to my daughter at 20 months (younger than the suggested age) and she loved it right away. However, even at the lowest setting she can’t draw to the top, which frustrated her unless she stood on a step stool — guess that’s why it’s better for age 3+.

This is a nice looking easel, and is unquestionably sturdy, and it is definitely sturdy. It is so sturdy that an adult will not be competent to even make a line on it is I wrote Melissa and Doug to ask what to do with regards to the fact that the chalk board cant be written on. I received a reply stating that the chalk board needed to be sanded, or primed before your child uses it, so I took it into my shop and firstborn employed the commended primer to remove that high gloss waxy finish. Well that didn’t work, so then I tried a light sanding. Still did not work. Being a little on the obsessive compulsive side, I decided to step up my venture and use a power sander. After all this venture my two year old daughter still may only make a couple of light lines, gets frustrated and quits. As an adult male, weighing 170 lbs I find that I need to use allot of elbow grease to make a few lines on the chalk board. Now my daughter tries to draw on the walls. Very disappointing experience. Go out and get yourselves a vintage easel. Back in the old days you were able to in truth write on a chalk board. Not like this mass invented ” Made in China ” junk of today!!!

We were so excessively affected emotionally when our order was delivered. My husband immediately layed out all the pieces (be prepared, there are many little screws, pins,)and begun to build the easle. Much to our disappointment (and my husbands frustration, it was missing pieces, several! This is a quality control difficulties I was a little shocked at just how much assemblage is required of this item.

As for the easle itself, its strong, colorful, and perfective for a young child to creatively express themself. I especially liked the part of the easle that you may put a roll of paper through it so that the child can proceed to draw just by pulling down the roll.

We wrote “Happy Birthday” on the whiteboard the morning of our daughter’s birthday. I employed an Expo dry erase marker. I’m a teacher and I use these in my classroom as well. Went to erase the message the next day and you would think I applied a permanent marker!!! I am very disappointed in the quality for the cash we expended on this. I have employed Expo wipes and the spray and I am putting such a swell deal of serious elbow grease into cleaning this board. We have bought small lap-size white boards that were better quality. I hate when I put my time, thought, and money into a crappy productions

My daughter received this for her third birthday. She loves it is I would have to agree with another insert that the chalkboard does not work so well. The dry erase, nonetheless is wonderful! I cant wait to get the paper so that she can start painting next!

I would recommend this to three and above. There are galore small pieces and the height could pose an issue for littler children. But overall, GREAT Product!

Only downfall, is the they do not provide even a few sheets of paper to get you started and chalk/eraser etc.

My mom bought this for my little girl for her 2nd birthday.(they had it in our local Toys R Us store, though it now says it is only available online) It was not my first choice, but I am super glad we decided to go with this one! Although bought for the 2 year old, my 9 year old and her friends all love it too! SO, I guess you will get your money’s worth! Assembly was not too bad, and the product is very sturdy! I am very very happy with this purchase! Not to mention, the price was wondrous equated to other alike items!

I bought this for my 18-month-old, and she took to it immediately. I had wanted something for finger painting, but the chalkboard is the largest hit. It was very easy to assemble; it’s sturdy; and it’s cheaper than the other big easels I looked at. The lowest setting is just the right height for her. Highly recommended.

Update: the easel still has a place of honor in our living room, and is still in great shape. I disassembled it for a move, and it was easy to put back together. I haven’t changed the height yet, but it’s when it comes to time. It’s definitely worth it to purchase the rolls of paper; it remains a real hit in our house.

Fitbit Wireless Activity Tracker Burgundy

I’ve had the Fitbit One for one day so obviously this is not going to be a exhaustive review but since there aren’t any other reviews I thought I’d post something.

First of all, even altho the release dates have been set back and back on Amazon and the Fitbit site, the Fitbit One is currently available at Best buy in stores and on their internet sites That’s where I got mine. I’m reviewing it here because I WOULD have purchased it here whether or not it were available. It’s very odd that it’s available there and not on Fitbit’s own internetsite for humans who’ve made pre-orders.

My basi impressions (it’s my first Fitbit in general): it’s tiny. The clip is solid. You have to take it out of the clip set up to charge it is It charges through a USB cable into your computer but not into the wall unless you get an adapter. Oddly enough, the startup instructions included in the package say to charge it for five minutes before powering on. Online it says to charge for two hours before turning it on. It took mine two hours, so don’t panic whether or not you think it’s supposed to work after five minutes and it doesn’t.

One thing I misunderstood before buying it: it says “wireless” but includes a bluetooth dongle you have to keep plugged into your computer in order to sync its I was hoping to use it on multiple computers but the only way to do that is to plug that small dongle into each computer when I want to sync. For somebody who is only using one computer it’s no huge deal, plus the Fitbit web internetsite itself works anywhere, just not the syncing without the dongle plugged in. I’d love to order another dongle or two but can’t figure out how – whether or not anyone knows, let me acknowledge in the remarks remarks There’s no way I’m carrying that tiny dongle around amid computers without a way to replace it whether or not I lose it.

I love, love, love the Fitbit dashboard. Super easy to set up, very intuitive, regarding 100 times more user-friendly than the Motoactv portal whether or not you’ve ever seen that. The feed is very easy to track and the feed tracking interface is better than WW online – it recognized more foods off the bat and provided info for them than WW usually does for me when I’ve employed it.

I like it because it brings together your food, exercise, ordinary activity, water, etc., all into one place. That’s all on the dashboard on the Fitbit internet website and has to be done through your computer or the mobile app, not the Fitbit itself.

There are in essence 8 things the Fitbit device does itself. It shows you: steps taken today; distance traveled today; floors today; the time; calories burned today; and a flower. It may track your sleep patterns – it includes this huge cloth wristband that’s very soft to wear – and may vibrate on your arm to wake you up haven’t tried that yet).

I kept it in my pocket all day and it didn’t bother me at all. It’s roughly the size of one AA battery, perchance a tiny bit more prominent in its clip.

–UPDATE–I’ve had this for a week and a half and have a few things to add as promised. I have not had any difficulties at all with the clip as such a outstanding deal of have had. I wear the fitbit either in the coin pocket in my pants or just clipped on my waistband and it’s never come out.

I have found that it have a tendancy to OVERCOUNT steps a smaller I have a Motoactv with a pedometer and wore them together all week to compare and I in addition did such a lot of manual tests where I just walked counting steps to see what my pedometers said, and the Fitbit overcounted by with regards to 10% in my tests. It in addition counts steps when I’m driving and, maddeningly, when I’m sleeping. I don’t understand why it would be competent to count steps when it’s in sleep tracking mode with the timer, and I can’t seem to override it on my account, so when I wake up from sleep tracking I’ve already got steps in my account when I sync its It’s not a dealbreaker but I wish it would allow me to override or delete steps. I like the silent alarm and the wristband, though.

Finally, this fitbit records stairs climbed when I’m driving, precisely 2 floors each way on my commute to and from work, every day, because there’s an altitude change. So I will probably just turn that feature off.

Overall I still genuinely like it and would buy it again.

11/26/12 Update: I’ve had my One for a month now and wanted to update my original review. I still LOVE the FitBit One.

I have had a danger to play around with the silent alarm and I genuinely like this feature. It is incredibly easy to set and synch the alarm from the iPhone apps I use it almost daily each day I won’t lie, the annoying radio alarm is what gets me OUT of bed. However, I in truth enjoy the tame wake up of the vibration from the One. It is fewer jarring and a more pleasant way to wake up). Usually I am awake before the vibration goes off, but this morning it woke me up from a full sleep. I only wish there was a snooze feature. You have to let the alarm buzz for it’s full cycle, and then it will go off again approx 10 minutes later.

The words displaying on the tracker prior to showing my steps, floors, calories, etc is a non-issue now. Generally, I don’t even touch the tracker; I just synch the device and view my statistics from my phone (or computer). I love, love, love the blue tooth synch function. It is AWESOME.

I am shocked that anyone has lost their tracker out of the silicon sleeve. I’ve gone walking, jogging, done Zumba a LOT of very physical activity) and have never had any difficultnesses The tracker stays secure and tight in the silicone sleeve. (I clip it to my bra for the duration of exercise, and just leave it in a pants pocket the rest of the day.)

I still very much love the device a month later. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the upgrades FitBit has made with the One. It’s unquestionably worth splurging for the extra features.

—————————————————————————–

I had a FitBit Ultra for a year. When it started breaking down I decisive to just order the new modified FitBit One. FitBit’s client service is excellent, and when I emailed them in regards to the Ultra breaking they sent me a new widgets I love good client customer purchased my One from a dissimilar site site because I got a bunch of airline miles, plus they had an earlier shipping date) other than as supposed or expected I would have purchased it on Amazon.

I’ve used One for with regards to 2 days now and I am pleasantly surprised. It seems like FitBit really listened to customer’s complaints in regards to the ultra. Now the FitBit is one sleek piece, that you fit into a rubberized case which has the clip. more split, broke ultra from clipping it directly to your pants or bra.) I in addition LOVE that FitBit now synch’s with my iPhone 5. (Please check the website, because I believe your phone will need a certain type of bluetooth to synch thru mobile device.) Whenever I open the mobile app, it will synch with the tracker and display my updated stats. Very amazing to see your progression for the duration of the day and not have to wait until you get home to synch.

Some divergences from the Ultra: the tracker is a bit smaller. The sleep wristband is a small different different in a good, or a bad way, just different.) With the fact that I synch the tracker more often, I wonder whether or not the battery life will be as good, but time will tell on that one. I miss the way all of your stat’s would automatically scroll thorough on the ultra. (Ie: one click gave you steps taken, then floors climbed, then calories burned, etc) With the One you have to click through every screen to get to the next. This is just a small annoying, but not a deal breaker. They in addition added a title prior to showing your numbers… so the screen will flash the word “steps” and then give you your step county It will flash the word “calories”, then give you calories burned, etc. I recognise what the icons mean, I don’t need them on the display. is a very minor complaint, I am just trying to give a full and complete picture of the changes from the Ultra.)

I will say that I am still seeing the same problems with the sleep recording and floors climbed. The dashboard tells me I fell asleep in 7 minutes, when I acknowledge I was still awake but just not moving. In the same vein, FitBit tells me that I climbed 16 floors yesterday, but I acknowledge that is not accurate. At least you may get a frequent idea of how much you’re moving around (in both daylight and night time!).

Installation was a breeze, and it transferred all of my old Ultra information over to the new devices I think installation was actually more comfortable than the Ultra. Like someone mentioned, it may use up to 2 USB ports on your computer: one for the wireless dongle which synch’s the tracker, and one for the charger. Kind of a bummer, but I suppose you may just unplug the charger when you aren’t using it.

The dashboard and all the online tools are the same as the Ultra. I think the internetlocation interface is awesome, and I LOVE the mobile apps It also synch’s with MyFitnessPal (along with a couple of other partner collaborator so you may percentage your feed and weight info among the two sites. I found FitBit’s calorie tracking database a bit clunky to use so I LOVE that I may just load my info into MFP and have it transfer over. They make it super easy to track your movement, food and weight so you can literally see the fruits of all your labor. The week in and week out progress reports are great as well, and it’s nice to actually see the input vs output numbers to assist you realize why the scale may not be moving. I found it eye opening for sure and it help me modify such a heap of of my behaviors.

I love the FitBit product and I think the One is a worthy upgrade. Although, the changes amidst the Ultra and One are beauteous slight, it probably wouldn’t be worth the upgrade whether or not your Ultra is working fine. If your Ultra is breaking down, or your new to the FitBit products, it’s definitely worthwhile to get the One.

For such an costly device I was bewildered to perceive that the selective information I assembled was not mine to use.

That’s right! Fitbit keeps your info hostage on their websites You can view it online and do a couple of uninteresting things with it over there is But if you were planning on downloading your info selective information I certainly certainly and put it to real use by running your own analysis, also prepare to pay the phenomenal price of $50 a year.

And what’s more, at this time, there is no such thing as gathering intraday data. That means that you won’t be capable to know much more than the vague sum of your action for the day, you won’t know the divergence amongst a morning effort and an evening effort.

I guess it was my fault to assume a little speedily that my info would be mine.

I wouldn’t commend this to a friend.

I had a FitBit Ultra for when it comes to five months and then lost it on an airplane. Replaced with a FitBit One, and when I opened the package to see the fitbit was enclosed in a rubber gasket-like contraption, I figured that would be better.

How faulty I was. And how right such a good deal of of the commentary on FitBit’s site is to be worried about the little rubber holster keeping it in place.

Two major, major issues:

(1) I have had the FitBit spontaneously leap to freedom from the rubber holster at least 6 times during the ten (10!) day amount of time I have been wearing the unit. Luckily, all of the occasions were when I was indoors, so I could listen the device skitter all over the floor like a stale M&M. Had it been outdoors, I would have never heard or noticed the loss until far too late.

(2) The clipping mechanism is such that it does not fit all the way around a belt. Accordingly, the bottom share of the device sticks out a bit from the belt (think of it as a 10% angle or so). Which may be why #1 happens as much as it does.

(3 — we’re on the bonus plan, I suppose) Yesterday, the plastic piece on the bottom of the clip came off, exposing two metal prongs. They’re not sharp, per se, but they still managed to cut my finger tips when I reached for the gimmicks The plastic piece is all the way gone now; which is unfortunate, because now I cannot return the blasted thing and try to get my money back.

Some other points:

The bluetooth sync only works for iPhones, and then only for the most recent iPhones.

The armband for sleeping is nicer than the Ultra; hopefully I can combine this with an Ultra, ought to I occur to order one (still deciding…)

All in all, the Ultra was a much better devices My wife took one look at the One and said she would never sell her Ultra for it, as she likes clipping the Ultra on to her waistband and doesn’t like the look or feel of the One.

Fortunately, the Ultras (Fitbit Wireless Activity/Sleep Tracker, Black/Blue) are still available on Amazon (and for $20 less than the One)…

——————–

Update (11/20):

The good individuals at FitBit learned of my unhappiness and have sent me a complimentary Ultra. I’m still not a fan of the One, but FitBit’s customer service is second to none.

Veho Muvi Pro Micro Camcorder

I purchased two of these as replacements for the alike unit I’ve had for with regards to 18 months that has broken. One of the ones I purchased would never sync up with my computer, and was returned at no cost to me to Amazon. The other one works fine, and has a better resolution than my basi unit. I am a Police officer, and use them to capture video and audio on traffic stops, as well as anytime I have need of recording statements or actions. The audio on them is better than the in car camera I have.

I have also utilized one clipped to a hat band at sporting events to record video. It works well.

Like most people, I purchased this because it was small. It mount’s to my vehicle’s windshield easily and does not obstruct my view tucked up beneath my rear-view mirror. It seems well built, and easy to employed The included memory card provides a good quantity of recording time, but it is very slow to transfer the videos to a computer through the internal USB, only when it comes to 1MB/s. You ought to get an SD adapter and use a card reader.

The main downside to this is the battery. It advertises a recording time of when it comes to 3 hours, but I struggle to get even one hour record time out of it is It may only fill the card whether or not you stop to charge it between shooting, or whether or not you run it on USB power. A $5 USB 12V to USB adapter works nicely for me, with a thin USB cable.

I found the included clip is nice, but it’s not entirely useful. whether or not you want to exaggerate your mounting options, check out the RAM mount strategies The RAM-B-238-VEN1U allows this to mount with a “B” size ball. Then you may stick it to nearly anything depending on your base.

I use my Muvi Pro for legal investigations, witness interviews, discreet location recons, sub rosa investigations, for documenting service of routine process procedure and other related activenesses where a large camera is not appropriate.

It resembles a Bluetooth headset in size and shape, and humans ordinarily don’t even detect it.

On a couple of occasions I have worn it outside clipped to a shirt or hoodie for the duration of light rain, and it’s survived these experiences. The camera indeed does have a long run time, in excess of one hour (I’ve never necessitated to record for longer than that.) That’s not to say it is a good idea to wear this for hours in severe rain.

The files created are indeed large; I entirely agree with the technique suggested by other reviewers; using a micro card adapter in a fast USB-II external card reader is easily twice as fast as attempting to import directly from the Muvi Pro.

The images are a bit fish-eyed due to the wide lens configuration, but it’s not too bad. Focus can handle from a few inches out to infinity but don’t expect crystal-clear shots such as those a $10,000 pro video camera will produce.

The trade-off for the large depth-of-field seems to be in slow shutter speeds. The small Muvi Pro does not do well in capturing fast motion in low light situations such as indoors below normal house lighting; but there again we are transaction with compromises due to size and price.

Color tends to be over-saturated in the blues, which makes outdoor scenes look “better” than they actually were; (reminds me of the color processing they did on the old tourist post cards. Looks great but is not accurate.)

I tried using a Kingston 8Gb micro card in this unit and the Muvi Pro did not like it, wouldn’t ‘boot’ to it so I’ve stayed with the native 4Gb one and it’s been fine.

(Update 9/24/11: Tried the Kingston 8gb again and now it works, no idea why it didn’t the initial time. A fast Class-6 or-10 card is a good idea for video.)

Battery life has been good and I’ve never had it fail during recording; I always recharge it after a use while offloading the files. I do wish there were galore low power warning but if there is one I don’t do not forget what it’s supposed to be (a flashing “low power” LED would be great.

All in all a very utile piece of gear, exceedingly handy to carry with you on the occupation in case unexpected prospects arise.

After 4 months of use one of the small clip-points on top of the plastic clip-carrier broke, causing me to have to use numerous black duct tape to keep the camera in the clip so be conscious that the small clip is not as heavy-duty as the camera itself.

A new generation of Muvi has just been released, the Muvi HD 10 Veho VCC005MUVIHD10 Muvi Full HD10 Handsfree Camcorder which seems to offer numerous features that the Pro lacks, specially the capacity to monitor the scene being recorded; the trade-off is that the ’10 does not appear to be a Bluetooth headset and instead, looks more like what it is: a little camera.

Depending on your requirements, the smaller Muvi Pro may be the best choice for you. The accessory pack available here (though I could not get the Amazon link search to find it) is called the Veho VCCA003ESP Extreme Sports Pack and sells for regarding 17 bucks, might be a good deal because it includes a substitute clip and galore other mounting options.

I’m glad I bought the Muvi Pro and now am considering a Muvi 10 to add to the toolkit.

(9/24/11 update: Still using this in a professional manner and it’s delivering work product without fail. icon smile

This little gizmo is one of my most bestloved purchases. At first the audio was not very clear, but after playing around with the settings downloaded from the install cd, the sound is much better. The picture quality is amazing! I was being harassed at work and wanted to accumulate such a heap of proof since my boss thought I was over-exaggerating. Now she knows I was not over-stating the facts!

My use has been limited but I can make the following comments:

Pros:

This product does what it claimes to do. It is rugged. I used it as the payload for a model rocket and it survived. The video is interesting, too. It’s small and seems to maintain a charge for long periods when not in utilized The video quality is reasonably good beneath a assortment of conditions (indoor & outdoor).

Cons:

It captures audio, but the audio quality is just ok under most conditions.

There is no way to eliminate the time/date stamp in the lower right part of the screen. After searching, I found that the manufacturer stated this but it’s burried in a FAQ. That was a suprise and I almost returned it.

For downloads, without installing the software, such a heap of computers recognize the device as USB Storage Device, and will transfer files easily. But, others don’t.

Do not open files with DivX. Even altho you have AVI files, it crashes the computer.

Overall, I like the size and ruggedness. However, the time date stamp on the videos is annoying. I would not purchase it again for that reason.

This unit so far is working well as a “portable” camera. Video seems to be on the average. The mounting clip does not keep the unit upright if you clip on your pocket without any further and added aid assist card behind it seems to help)

For those who want to use it as a car camera, be conscious of couple severe drawbacks: it only operates on its internal battery while recording (last for 1 hr typically) and no recording over eldest selective information like a typical car camera. So after either the battery runs out or the SD card is full, there is no more recording. You then have to either recharge the battery and manually erase the selective information file. So each day, you have to take the unit out of the car and do both things to get ready for the following day. That to me is very time-consuming and make it less beautiful as a car camera.

BTW, for galore occasions, I could not tell the color of the traffic light from the recorded video. Forget about reading the license plate number of the vehicle in front of you.

Original Toy Company 59614 Trampoline

This is a outstanding find! I am amazed that there are no other reviews of this mini-trampoline on Amazon (or anywhere else that I could find, for that matter)! I purchased this trampoline for my very active 4 year old boy, and we are very happy with the quality. I read reviews of all the other alike merchandise on Amazon, and they shared two things in common: (1) unmanageable to assemble and (2) a bungee cord that breaks after heavy employed This trampoline does not have a bungee cord, instead the jumping surface comes pre-attached to the steel frame with with regards to 16 heavy-duty straps. All you have to do is unpack it and attach the legs and handle, and you’re ready to go! This trampoline will fold up for storage, even even though not flat. It folds up sufficient that we may store it in a closet whether or not we want toxi

Purchased this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. Fortunately I ordered it early because the price jumped $50 from November to Christmas Day. I had to give it 3 stars because it is ranked up to 150 pounds which is essential because we are a very tall family and my 5 year old is already over 4 ft tall with the weight that goes with that. I wanted her to be capable to use it longer than a year and it looks like she will be competent to do that because it looks very sturdy. However, the misleading name of “Fold and Go” and the construction of it made me want to give it 1 gaze It would have been easy to put together whether or not whether or not the directions were clearer and 2) the holes were drilled properly. All was good in the construction until we realized that the holes that are drilled in the handle and the sleeve on the trampoline where the handle fit into were not aligning. We tried switching the bars around to see whether or not it made any difference, but it did not. Thankfully my husband is insanely strong, so with him forcing the handle down with all of his body weight while I tried to fit the bolt into the holes, we were able to assemble it is There is utterly no way I could have done it alone without getting a drill bit to drill through the heavy metal bars and widen the opening for the bolt. This was genuine for all four of the bolts. The other construction issue is that the blue nylon type skirt that goes around the edge has a drawstring type of thing to secure it is This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the instructions and I didn’t realize what the string was for until the skirt was to a finish degree gathered and latched on which took a bit of time, lacing 6 bungee cords below through small openings. Once that was done the skirt was too tight to pull the drawstring and it would have taken much too long to unlace and relace all the bungees so we just tied the uneven drawstring and wrapped it around one of the legs.

If all that wasn’t bad enough, here’s my biggest issue. THIS TRAMPOLINE DOES NOT “FOLD”. Yes, yes, I recognise now that if I had conservatively read the product description it does say that to “fold” it up you have to remove the legs and handle, but foolish me assumed that would be an easy task. Certainly the legs screw off without apparent effort sufficient but there isn’t enough incentive in the world to get me to undertake and remove that handle after all the hassle it took to get it on in the firstborn place. The #2 reason we chose this model (aside from the 150 pound limit) was that we thought we’d be able to fold it up and put it out of the way when not in utilized Very misleading. This does not fold at all.

I have a 3 year old, 40 pounds, who necessitated such a good deal of winter exercises Found this at local toy store at comparable price with coupon, considering shipping. Best features: ranked for 150#, 6 legs for stability, no springs, folds down small, easy assembly, sturdy considering it folds. Limitations: it takes 2 persons to fold (but at least it may be done), not good on hardwood, and any trampoline is a tip-over risk, esp with a handle. She loves it with toddler radio- it is a nightly ritual. My furniture is saved and she sleeps well = happy mama.

My in-laws bought this trampoline for my 26 month old to have in his bedroom. My first reaction was that it takes up too much space. However, my son loves it and has employed it each day for the last three months. I don’t mind the space percentage now since it burns off so much of his excessive energy. My son genuinely gets going when we put on music for him to jump with. It didn’t take too long before my son started swinging on the aid bar like it is a “monkey” bar. When he swings, the trampoline has a tendancy to tilt up in the back which seemed dangerous. To mend this tilting problem my father in-law took the rubber feed off of the two back legs, slid such a outstanding deal of old 5 pound weights around the legs, and then put the rubber feed back on again. This extra 10 pounds prevents the tilting and now my son may swing like a monkey all day long. We like to put pillows in front of the trampoline and he likes to swing and fall into the pillows.

I really bought mine at Toy’s R Us. There it is called First Fitness Kids First Trampoline (or Auqa Leisure Fitness First Trampoline) but it is incisively the same as far as everything else goes. Their price was only $45 on sale and this way I obviated the massive shipping charges. My 16 month old is a jumpaholic and was wearing us out! He figured out how to use this in less than 6 minutes and has been elated ever since. This was super easy and fast to put together. He only weighs 27 lbs so he doesn’t get a lot of bounce out of it but he still utterly LOVES it is It has been a swell investment. I read countless reviews on mini trampolines, full size trampolines, and bounce houses of all sizes over the past few weeks before resolving on this and I unquestionably feel I made a great decision and best of all it doesn’t take up a whole room.

So my only concern because he is so small is that due to his short arms his face is close to the bar and it on occasion seems like his chin might hit the bar. But the bar is padded so that’s good. I think I may as well wrap a towel around the bar and zip tie it on every end for a bit of extra padding. Not too thick though or he will hit it for sure but just enough for a just in case situation. So far so good though. I also read when it comes to so a great deal of reviewers concerns of tipping, he jumps close to the front and there is no tipping at all. perchance if he weighed more but I still don’t think it is a concerns If you are worried when it comes to it at all maybe put the side with the bar near a wall.

The recommendation is for three and up altho the manual states 24 months, either way if you are like me and want to find a jumping solution for your littlest person such as mine just SUPERVISE!!! I don’t let my small one near it without full supervision. But this has been an excellent solution, purchase it and take pleasure in all the smiles headed your way! Hope my review has helped.

Hooray for Amazon reviews that steered me away from similar items that required blood, sweat and tears to assembled This trampoline is rather easy to set up, since the mesh is already stretched onto the frame, and just requires folding (grunt, grunt) it open. Hooking the safety cover is fairly challenging due to vague instructions, but it appears I guessed in an accurate manner how to hook the little elastic and knob bits thru the openings underneath. Another customer had problems attaching the screws for the handle; mine was a breeze, no alignment issue at all. I constantly start all of a set of screws by hand before gradually tightening every one in series.

Extremely well-made product, which is ironically where the one star is subtracted by me. This trampoline says it may hold a 150+ pound “child” which indeed, it may not I’d guess any adult could find it perfectly functional for many years. Sadly, when my little one (27 pounds) tries to bounce on it, she just isn’t heavy enough to have much effect. Oh well. She does like hanging off the bar, and it’s quite stable.

It does take two individuals to manage to fold it back up, so the “fold and go” conception is a bit of a stretch, as it requires complete disassembly to “go” back in the box. Still, do-able in in regards to 10 minutes.

And fyi, watch the price on this product, and who’s syndication it, as it can vary quite a bit.

I looked at every mini trampoline on Amazon before picking this one and I genuinely believe that I got the best one. First of all, it was super easy to assembled It was up and “jumping” in in regards to 20 minutes! The mesh is already attached which is awesome. The legs screw on, and the only tool that is needed is the allen wrench that is included and that’s just for the four screws that are required for the handle bar. I have a 2 and a 3 year old that undertake to out jump each other and this stands up to the beating. The other great thing is that this one has 6 legs so when they jump, the trampoline does not come up on one side which was a popular complaint with such a good deal of of the other brands. This one seems very stable and we are very happy with it!

I bought this for my toddler daughter, and she has absolutely LOVED playing on it over the past six months. Despite the fun factor, though, I’m replacing it because it seems unstable with how it’s been used.

Pros:

–Perfect size: We kept it in the living room. It was large enough to have sufficient bounce, but small enough not to take up too much space.

–Very bouncy bands: No springs to pinch curious fingers

–Soft foam on handle: Never warped or came loose

–Easy to assemble: I’m a petite woman, and I put it together single-handedly in in regards to 20 minutes.

–Sturdy bounce area and padding: No rips or tears, ever.

Cons:

–The handle is WONDERFUL for children just learning to bounce, BUT it’s a concern for kids that put uneccessary weight on it is My daughter’s gotten the hang of jumping without it is its its Now, it’s mostly only used when my daughter leans on it, or her slightly older friends hang from it or push all their weight on it to jump extra high. This makes the screws looser, and also makes the trampoline back legs come off the ground. Granted, the kids shouldn’t be doing this, but kids who are a little higher energy will be prone to do this. This kind of misuse could cause an accident. Given their ages and jumping ability, I think one without a handle is now a better choices This is listed at ages 3 and up, but I would really think about who will be using it before you purchase its Though it’s rated for up to 150 pounds, it’s likely your kid may outgrow it, particularly if they misuse the handle. I don’t regret buying it–it was perfective when my daughter was a beginning bouncer. It’s just not the best option for her and her friends now.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 2 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it is He is quite active and this is a great way for him to use all that pent up energy – specially here in the midwest where he can’t get outside much in the winter. Weight limit is 150 pounds, so his older brother and sister can use it as well. Easily put together in a short time. Seems quite sturdy. We chose this model because it uses straps rather than bungee cords (that can may or springs (that can pinch littel toes and fingers.) We also wanted one with a handle so our little guy wouldn’t bounce off and get hurt. Overall, we are very happy with this item and highly commend it to others.
